Artist chose some typical images of childhood such as swordman¡¯s spears,chairs and desks to compose his picture,which created a kind of disorder and tragic feeling as in battlefiled. It also caused absurd dramatic effect in comparing with the solemn atmosphere of the
calssroom.To cut through desks and chairs reflects the typothetic free spirit of childhood (free development is limited in certain extent).This hero-like limit-breaking power goes well with youth¡¯s innocentcharacter.The relationship between victim and ruler has been blured by the image of these thrusting spears.It seemsthat the desks and the chairs are killing weapons,however,they are only violent sufferers. |
